Our House, that got demolished

This was when I was in 12th grade (Science with computer). Such an important year for studies, life full of tension. Get up early morning, go to college, afternoon come back from college, spend 1-2 hours at home, then go for tuitions, without which you cant do anything in exams, then come home at night, have dinner, go to sleep. And then the same routine repeated everyday! Once coming back from my tuition, my Dad said that our building was gonna get demolished and we would have to change our flat. Actually what we think that the caretaker of building did not inform us earlier so that he could take the rent to his pocket. Anyways, Allah knows better! So, just 1-2 months time was given to us. We started searching for flats. Unfortunately we couldn't get any. Slowly every1 from the building started shifting.

We found a flat in the same lane. The caretaker of that building said that this flat would be empty in few days. We had already started packing. The time was drawing near! The owner of our building was in such a hurry that whenever a flat used to get empty, he used to call the workers to remove things from there, like doors, windows, etc.

Now the new flat guy, was not leaving the flat. Kept giving reasons, huh! Just our family and one more family was there in the old building :o... Imagine when u open the main door of your house, in front u see that the flat in front has no doors and no windows, u can see other building thru that! It was terrific, as if v were staying in a cave, or some jungle...

We were so helpless at that time... Then the new building's caretaker spoke rudely to that guy who wasn't emptying the flat... We kept packing. Our building's staircase railings were also removed. Then from my kitchen window i saw a bulldozer or crane right in front of my window :. I shouted, and told mom. We thought they started demolishing the building with we inside it! We called an uncle who found out that they were removing the water tank from top of building.... HUH... Without water, who will stay in the building!!!

Now it was decided that we would shift in the new house, even though that guy's belongings were there. Man, u shud have seen the drawing room with his things and our things, one on top of the other!!! Plus house was so untidy. Anyways one room he emptied, where our family could stay... and the same night he left with his things in our house :). And that fellow dint come to take his things even later :), so our new caretaker threw his things out of the house....

Anyways our building was demolished, I think the next day itself. But I just cant forget that scary time that there were no people in that building, only we were the residents of that old building that time!!!
